HerbAI ("we," "our," or "us"), published by BlockchainBuck LLC, operates the HerbAI application on iOS, Android, and the web (app.herbalvanguard.com). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. HerbAI is an educational wellness reference, not a medical service; nothing we collect is used to diagnose or treat you.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the app. What we collect depends on which version you use.

All platforms

• Device or install identifier: an anonymous identifier used to rate-limit requests to the HerbAI assistant so usage stays fair across all users. It is not linked to your name or contact details.
• AI chat messages: messages you send to the HerbAI assistant are transmitted to our proxy server and forwarded to the Anthropic API to generate a response. They are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers after the response is returned.
• Crash and performance diagnostics: if the app crashes or hits an error, a diagnostic report (device model, OS version, app version, and the error details) is sent to Sentry so we can fix it. These reports do not include your diary, supplement stack, or chat content.

iOS and Android apps

• Purchase and subscription status: when you subscribe to a paid plan (Pro or Elite), the purchase is processed by Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status to unlock features. We never see or store your payment card details.
• No account is required. The mobile apps do not ask you to create an account or provide an email address.

Web app (app.herbalvanguard.com)

• Account email address: the web version uses an email sign-in so your subscription can be recognized across sessions. Your email is used only to identify your account and send sign-in links; it is not used for marketing.
• Purchase and subscription status: web subscriptions and passes are processed by Stripe, which supports card payments and USDC stablecoin. We receive confirmation of what you purchased and its status; Stripe handles all payment details under its own policy.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Your name or phone number
• Location data
• Photos, camera, or microphone data
• Contacts or address books
• Browsing or search history outside the app
• Health or wellness data — your diary, supplement stack, symptom logs, and protocol tracking are stored only on your device (or, on the web, only in your browser). They are never transmitted to our servers.
• Advertising identifiers — HerbAI contains no ad networks and does not use the advertising ID.

How We Use Your Information

• App functionality: device identifiers enforce fair-use limits on AI requests.
• Subscription management: purchase status is used to unlock the features you paid for, on the platform you paid on.
• AI responses: chat messages are sent to the Anthropic API solely to generate an educational response to your question.
• Reliability: crash diagnostics are used to find and fix bugs.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below, who process it only on our behalf.

Data Storage & Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit with HTTPS/TLS. Your personal wellness data lives on your device. Web account and subscription records are stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) in access-controlled databases. Because your wellness data is stored locally, you are responsible for backing it up; use the in-app export if you switch devices.

Third-Party Services

• Anthropic API: generates AI chat responses. Anthropic Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: manages mobile subscription entitlements. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
• Apple In-App Purchase / Google Play Billing: process mobile payments.
• Stripe: processes web payments, including card and USDC. Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: hosts web account and entitlement records. Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Sentry: receives crash and error diagnostics. Sentry Privacy Policy.
• Amazon Associates: some product links are affiliate links. Amazon's privacy policy applies once you leave the app.

Children's Privacy

HerbAI is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we will delete any such information promptly if we learn of it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because the mobile apps hold no personal information about you beyond an anonymous device identifier and subscription status, most of these rights are exercised simply by clearing the app's data or uninstalling. For web accounts, or to make any request, contact privacy@herbalvanguard.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your HerbAI account and any associated data at any time.

1. Email privacy@herbalvanguard.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account (or include the email address you signed up with).
2. We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted: your web account record and login credentials, subscription entitlement records held by us, and any server-side data linked to your account or device identifier.

What may be retained: transaction records required for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, retained only for as long as the law requires. Subscription billing history is also held by Apple, Google, or Stripe under their own policies; cancel any active subscription through the platform you purchased on.

Local data: your wellness diary, supplement stack, and tracking data are stored only on your device. Delete them at any time from Settings → "Delete All Saved App Data from This Device," or by uninstalling the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
